Students at Thomas Jefferson School of Law come from all walks of life, from all over the country and the world. Many students choose Thomas Jefferson because of the school's location in the heart of downtown San Diego, which supports a network of student activities and job opportunities.
On campus, there are dozens of student-run organizations at the school offering professional workshops, networking opportunities, social events and community service projects.
Faculty members are a big part of the student experience at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Many faculty members advise the student clubs and organizations as well as plan special guest lecture and event programs.
As a CBE school, Thomas Jefferson has trained numerous lawyers to be successful in their fields in California, with historically one of the highest bar pass rate of all CBE schools. Study at, or graduation from, this law school may not qualify a student to take the bar examination or be admitted to practice law in jurisdictions other than California. A student who intends to seek admission to practice law outside of California should contact the admitting authority in that jurisdiction for information regarding its education and admission requirements.
Finally, the City of San Diego is known as "America's Finest City," and offers its own community, with great places for play and for study. Students can pick their locale, whether it is with a study group on the beach, on the lawn at a downtown park, or in the corner of a neighborhood eatery.
Wherever it is, Thomas Jefferson School of Law is there for you.
